You’ve probably been waiting for news on Gotham Knights and Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League if you’re a fan of the Batman Arkham games. There won’t be much longer to wait. The DC FanDome will return in October for a second edition, and Warner Bros. Interactive intends to showcase both games at the event.
Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League and Gotham Knights aren’t traditional sequels to the Arkham games, but they’re both exciting games in their own right. WB Games Montréal’s Gotham Knights is a co-op-friendly action game. Players will not be able to play as Batman, but they will be able to put on the capes of Batgirl, Red Hood, Nightwing, and Robin in order to protect their beloved city following Batman’s death. Gotham Knights follow in the footsteps of the Arkham games, but with a stronger focus on RPG systems.
Meanwhile, Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League is Rocksteady Games’ long-awaited follow-up to Batman: Arkham Knight, which was released in 2015. Suicide Squad is still a mystery to us. Despite this, many have speculated that it will be set in an open world based on Metropolis, will include co-op and solo play, and will follow Harley Quinn, Deadshot, Captain Boomerang, and King Shark as they attempt to defeat the Justice League.
For a long time, Warner Bros. Interactive has been deafeningly quiet about both games, but at this year’s DC FanDome, on Saturday, October 16, at noon CST, a slew of new details will be revealed.
Aquaman: King of Atlantis, Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom, The Batman, Batman: Caped Crusader, Batman: Fear State, the Batman/Fortnite comic crossover, Batwheels, Batwoman, Black Adam, Black Manta, Catwoman: Hunted, DC League of Super-Pets, DC’s Legends of Tomorrow, DC’s Stargirl, DC Super Hero Girls, DMZ, Doom Patrol, The Flash (film and TV), Harlem Globet Supergirl, Superman & Lois, Sweet Tooth, Teen Titans Go!, Titans, Young Justice: Phantoms, Wonder Woman Historia, Wonderful Women of the World, and more are among the titles available.
