With its Black Series and Vintage lines, Hasbro has done wonderful stuff for Star Wars aficionados. Nearly every person in any of the Star Wars movies who was on the screen for a second has become an action figure. But not everything Hasbro did. Many comic books, news, and video games were also mined for characters who can be remembered forever as figures of action.
Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order, Battlefront, Bounty Hunter, and Star Wars: Old Republic Knights have been depicted in great ways through Hasbro’s Gaming Greats line-up. The latter game is now being added again. You may remember to sprint around Tatooine with a Wookie warrior next to you for those of you who played KOTOR. It was Zaalbar, sometimes dubbed “Big Z” with affection. This great new character comes with a big sword and a blaster. It is sold at GameStop exclusively. Preorders are now available.
Let’s hope Hasbro continues with the KOTOR line and develops the most crucial figures for Mission, T3-M4, Bastila, Canderous, Juhani, Jolee and, most importantly HK-47, by adding Zaalsbar to Darth Reven as Black Series figures. I left Carth out because it was the worst absolute.
Hasbro also introduced a new figure for Spider-Marvel Man’s Legends Gamerverse action: Miles Morales. While we like to see other game characters get action figures, this new Miles rendition is very cool. He tapes his capacity to become invisible. He tapes. You can also add an object to your hand so that he looks like a Venom Smash attack is charged.
This figure is also sold exclusively at GameStop and will release on October 1.
