In case you missed it, Monster Train, the fantastic deck-building game, has arrived on Switch. Even better, it’s available in a new First Class edition that contains The Last Divinity DLC. Monster Train aficionados can now play the game on the move or in bed, thanks to the Switch’s excellent platform for deck-builders.
Monster Train First Class costs $29.99 and comes with every extra card and gameplay update published to date. The competitive Hell Rush mode of the game enables cross-play between the PC and Xbox versions, and pits up to eight players against each other online.
Do you like the genre but haven’t tried Monster Train yet? The game is a deck-building roguelike similar to Slay the Spire, but this time you’re aboard a multi-story train headed for the underworld that’s being invaded by invading monsters. The goal is to block opponents from climbing to the top of the railway, so you’ll need to come up with monster and spell combinations to keep them at away while keeping your train on track.
