On today’s Xbox consoles, Microsoft began testing Xbox Cloud Gaming (xCloud). On Xbox Series X/S and Xbox One consoles, select Xbox insiders will begin testing xCloud. Games can be played on Xbox consoles without the need to download them using this feature. This holiday season, Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers will be able to play cloud games on their consoles.

Users will be able to try out the games without having to download them completely thanks to this integration. More than 100 Xbox games will be available to players first as a result of this integration. Gamers who subscribe to Xbox Game Pass will be able to access games with just one click. In multi-player games, players will be able to invite their friends. You can find out more about Xbox Game Pass Ultimate here.

Microsoft Begin to Test xCloud on Xbox Consoles

Xbox Insiders with the Alpha and Alpha Skip-Ahead rings will be able to test xCloud on their game consoles starting today. Players will be able to use the Xbox Game Cloud feature to play games over the cloud without having to use storage on their consoles.

Microsoft wants Xbox games to be able to be played on almost any device. Another step the company has taken in this direction is to bring cloud gaming to consoles. The company announced earlier this year that by bringing the cloud gaming feature to consoles, they hope to keep the Xbox One in use for longer. You’ll be able to play games made specifically for the Xbox Series X/S on your Xbox One console this way. For example, you’ll be able to use your Xbox One to play Series X/S exclusive games like Microsoft Flight Simulator and The Medium. The full version of this integration has yet to be announced by Microsoft. It may take a few weeks to test some features, while others may take months. The company has not stated how long the testing phase of Xbox Cloud Gaming will last. In addition, Microsoft intends to expand the Xbox ecosystem. Xbox games will be playable on Smart TVs and streaming sticks, according to Microsoft’s plans. You can find more detailed information about Xbox Cloud Gaming here.
