What’s the arrangement with Pop Tarts? They don’t pop, and they aren’t tart. (Cue musical interlude)
After separating himself from sitcoms, Jerry Seinfeld will star in, direct, and produce Unfrosted, a film parody he co-composed with Spike Feresten and Barry Marder that is motivated by a joke he delineated for on the stand-up stage Pop Tarts. This one of a kind biopic will be served up at Netflix, where Seinfeld has a current and wonderful connection with the decoration. With the green light previously consuming hot like an enlightened toaster oven loop, creation is set to start next spring.
Seinfeld has a genuine comfortable arrangement over at Netflix. In 2017, the joke artist struck up an arrangement that brought his interview series Comedians In Cars Getting Coffee to the decoration, close by two stand-up specials, Jerry Before Seinfeld, and 23 Hours to Kill. Later this year, the momentous sitcom Seinfeld will come to Netflix, where it will live for a sum of five years.
“Stuck at home watching endless sad faces on TV I thought this would be a good time to make something based on pure silliness,” Seinfeld remarked. “So we took my Pop Tart stand-up bit from my last Netflix special and exploded it into a giant, crazy comedy movie.”

Wow! It must be nice to coincidentally find a worthwhile Netflix bargain much appreciated to a bit about a heavenly toaster oven baked good. Who can fault them, however? Pop Tarts are stunning, in any event, when they’re unfrosted. That’s right, I said it. I incline toward my Pop Tarts unfrosted. Anybody else? If I had to go with an iced Pop Tart, I think I’d pick Raspberry. How about you? What’s your liked Pop Tart flavor? Are you inspired by Seinfeld’s most recent Netflix project?
