Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl will be released in November, and if you’re still undecided about whether or not to play this remade adventure through the Sinnoh region, a new gameplay trailer will persuade you to do so.
The trailer shows off the Pokétch, an all-purpose app device that can find hidden items and summon wild Pokémon to use hidden moves like Cut to make exploration easier. Do you want to show off your monster collection? Amity Square is a fun location where players can walk around with up to six eligible Pokémon and take photos and videos with them. Do you enjoy cooking? Make some Poffins for your Pokémon to boost their cuteness and make them more appealing to Super Contest Shows. Instead of only being able to cook Poffins in the Poffin House as in the original games, you can now do so in Amity Square.
For the Nintendo Switch, Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl will be released on November 19th. You can learn more about what’s new here by reading a previous deep dive. On the same day, you can also get a special themed Switch Lite.
Remember that these remakes aren’t the only Pokémon games in development. A new trailer for Pokémon Legends: Arceus, which will be released next year, was also released today, showing off a new Scyther evolution among other things.
