Fortnite’s second chapter is coming to an end sooner than expected, according to Epic Games. In a new limited event called “The End.” the Cube Queen will wage war against all of the combatants on the Island on December 4 at 4 p.m. ET.
This is a one-time event, so once you’ve completed it, you won’t be able to play it again. Epic advises content creators and players to record their gameplay because it is the only way to see it again.
Groups of up to 16 players can queue together at The End. Friends can gather 30 minutes prior to the start of the event. Anyone who logs in between now and December 4 will receive a 225,000 XP reward, which is a day earlier than Epic originally announced. A themed loading screen and wrap will be awarded to players who compete in The End event. Epic is hosting a power-leveling weekend with supercharged XP from November 26 to 29 to help players finish the battle pass.
Nobody knows what will happen next. With Chapter 3 and a new theme, Epic is likely to continue. We already know that Boba Fett will appear in the game, and there are rumours that The Matrix will also appear.
