A new Platinum Edition of the first Dying Light is coming to Switch. This is the definitive edition of the 2015 zombie open-world game, as indicated by the gleaming moniker. The best part about switching to Switch is that you can now play those frightening night missions in broad daylight.

During Techland’s Gamescom developer video blog for Dying Light 2, the port was announced. The Platinum Edition, according to the developers, is “the most content-packed edition we have ever released,” with over 100 hours of gameplay to enjoy solo or in co-op. Despite the fact that it isn’t stated explicitly, one would assume that the title includes every content update and expansion, such as The Following and Hellraid. If that’s the case, that’s a lot of games on one cartridge. Techland has promised to provide more information about the port in the near future, so it shouldn’t be long before we know for sure.

Techland sweetens the deal with a package of goodies for fans of physical carts. The Platinum Edition boxed set comes with the base game, a survival guide with tips and tricks, a two-sided map of Harran, and stickers. What kid doesn’t like stickers?

Unfortunately, there’s no release date for Dying Light Platinum Edition. In the meantime, you can check out the latest gameplay trailer for Dying Light 2 Stay Human that premiered during the Gamescom Xbox showcase.
